Erin Alexandria
So I have so many things in store for Shygirl Sentiments Podcast and now this blog but I wanted to tell you all a little bit about myself! My name is Erin and I am about to turn 23 in a few short days! I was born and raised in Atlanta and attended The University of Miami for undergrad. In a couple of months I will be starting a master’s program in psychology that will prepare me for my goal of completing a doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology.
My hobbies are going to concerts and watching re-runs of Law and Order:SVU (I’ve seen every episode!!) I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends and exploring the best city in the world, Atlanta! I am an only-child and I never let my parents forget it as I still tell them about how lonely I was as a child, haha. Since I don’t have any siblings I value my friendships and really treat them like family. Within the past year I have traveled from Atlanta to Gainesville, Nashville, Memphis, and Los Angeles to visit my friends.
I consider myself to be an introvert, however these past couple of months I have definitely surprised myself as I have started my own podcast in which I create and produce the show AND I decided to start this blog! It’s a very exciting time for me as I have a lot of things planned for both of these platforms. Ultimately, I am allowing myself to be my authentic self and grow into the creative person that many people have told me that I was, but I never believed to be true. As you get to know me you will see that I am very transparent about my life especially various challenges I have experienced. I hope that my transparency will encourage you all to voice your truth!
